How to Request a Review from The Performance Critic
The Performance Critic offers free critical analyses to all London-based live artists and for all performance types: plays, showcases, rehearsed readings, circus, ballet, dance, musical theatre, Shakespeare plays, etc.
Commercial reviews are not offered via this service; instead, you will receive a critical analysis of your performance. For more information on this, please refer to this publication.
This free service is provided as part of my work as a freelance dramaturg.
How Do I Request a Review?
To request a review, you will need to send your official press release to me by email:
For information on what to include in your press releases, please see this publication.
When Will My Review Be Published?
All reviews are published within three days after the agreed performance date, with some exceptions: reviews for compound performances or performances with durations exceeding one hour and a half may take up to five days to be published.
You will receive an email to notify you that your review has been published once it has been released via this website.
Is There an Option to Have My Review Released to Me Privately?
Yes! Private reviews are, indeed, possible and are offered for affordable prices by The Performance Critic.
To request a private review, the process is the same, but you will have to state explicitly in your email that you would like a private review and not a public one.
