Requesting Reviews During the Pandemic

As readers may know, I usually only review performances which take place in London. However, given that all performances are currently virtual and streamed online, the issue of distance no longer exists. Therefore, during the pandemic, I am accepting review requests from all over the UK, as opposed to just London.

All reviews will be published 2-4 days after the signalled performance date, depending on the length and complexity of the performance. If you provide a specific performance date (if you require a review for a specific time or if your stream is only available temporarily) or an allocated ‘press night’ for your performance (such as an early or exclusive broadcast for members of press), your review will be published between 2-4 days after said specified date. If you do not have a specific performance date, I will inform you which date I will be watching the performance, instead, and the timeframe of 2-4 days will apply after this date.

When published, your review will be sent across social media platforms and will appear in full on this website and in reference in this index.

To request a review, please send a press release to Lee James Broadwood at contact@leejamesbroadwood.com

Press releases must include:

  • the time(s) and date(s) of your streams, with any specific time/date that you would like me to review your performance clearly marked;

  • a working link to your performance’s stream;

  • and a complete list of cast members and creatives (including lighting, set, costume, WHAM and music/sound creatives).

For more information on how to write press releases [to be tailored for virtual performances], click here.

As usual, all performance types are welcome!

Any questions, concerns, feedback or comments may be sent either by email to lee.james.broadwood@hotmail.com or by filling out a contact form here.
